Canada's South Asian Festival

desiFEST is Canada's only national South Asian music festival. Our vision is to create mainstream opportunities for South Asian and South Asian inspired music. Through desiFEST, we are helping to strengthen local communities, inspire youth and support the ARTS community in Canada

The festival went national visiting three cities in the first 5 years. Our expansion cities included Montreal and Vancouver, desiFEST Vancouver took place in the historic Gastown. Over 5000 people, over 26 bands and dancers, local celebrities and government officials helped to make our Vancouver launch a huge success. Over the past 10 years, we have worked with over 300 artists and helped create North America's South Asian music network.
